Refund policy

At Ted's Medical Threads, customer satisfaction is important to us. If you need to return or exchange an item, please review the policy below before contacting us.

Order Cancellations

Because many of our products are made to order, cancellations are subject to the following processing fees:

  • Orders canceled within 24 hours of purchase are subject to a $6.00 cancellation fee.

  • Orders canceled after the first 24 hours are subject to a $15.00 cancellation fee.

Once an order has entered production, is being prepared for shipment, or has already shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Exchanges

We are happy to process exchanges whenever possible.

Please contact our Customer Support team before returning any merchandise. We will work with you to determine the best exchange option and provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) Number along with return instructions.

Exchange items must meet the same eligibility requirements as returns.

Return Eligibility

Returns must be requested within 10 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a refund, items must:

  • Be unworn and unwashed

  • Be in their original condition

  • Include all original tags and labels

  • Be free from stains, odors, or damage

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Embroidered items

  • Altered garments

  • Washed or worn merchandise

  • Clearance items

  • Items marked as Final Sale

Return Authorization

All returns require prior authorization.

Before returning any merchandise, please contact Customer Support to obtain:

  • A Return Authorization (RA) Number

  • The correct return shipping address

  • Return instructions

Returns received without an authorized RA Number or shipped to an incorrect return address may be refused and returned to the sender.

If you are returning merchandise from multiple orders, a separate RA Number is required for each order.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of:

  • Our shipping error

  • A manufacturer defect

  • A damaged item received

Return shipping charges are non-refundable.

We strongly recommend using a shipping service that provides tracking and insurance, as Ted's Medical Threads cannot be responsible for returned packages lost or damaged during transit.

COD (Cash on Delivery) return shipments will not be accepted.

Refund Processing

Please allow up to 15 business days after we receive your returned merchandise for inspection and processing.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return resulted from our error.

Restocking Fees

Returns that are not the result of an incorrect shipment, manufacturer defect, or shipping error are subject to the following restocking fees:

  • $3.50 for the first returned item

  • $3.00 for each additional returned item

Restocking fees will be deducted from your refund.

Incorrect Shipments, Shortages & Manufacturer Defects

If you receive an incorrect item, have missing merchandise, or discover a manufacturer defect, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order.

When contacting us, please include:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • The item(s) involved

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs, if applicable

We will work quickly to resolve the issue by providing a replacement, exchange, or refund when appropriate.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If an order is returned to Ted's Medical Threads because:

  • The shipping address provided was incorrect,

  • The package was refused, or

  • The package could not be delivered,

we reserve the right to deduct any shipping charges or carrier fees incurred before issuing a refund or reshipping the order.
