Thank you for shopping with Ted's Medical Threads. Many of our products are made to order, so please review the information below regarding order processing and shipping.

Order Processing

Most items offered by Ted's Medical Threads are custom made specifically for your order and are not stocked on our shelves.

  • In-stock items typically ship the next business day.

  • Made-to-order items generally require production before shipment.

  • Most custom orders are processed and shipped within 14 business days, although some orders may require additional processing time depending on product availability and customization.

  • Additional production time may be required for:

    • Embroidery

    • Garment alterations

    • Plus size garments

    • Large or specialty orders

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

Shipping Methods

Shipping carriers are selected based on the destination, package size, and shipping efficiency.

Domestic orders may be shipped using:

  • USPS Ground Advantage

  • USPS Priority Mail

  • UPS (for larger shipments)

International orders may be shipped using:

  • USPS International

  • FedEx

  • DHL

Carrier selection is made at our discretion to provide reliable delivery.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight of your order and destination.

International orders are also calculated by weight and include an additional international shipping surcharge.

Shipping charges are displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship throughout the United States, including:

  • All 50 states

  • APO/FPO military addresses

  • Puerto Rico

  • Guam

  • U.S. Virgin Islands

  • American Samoa

  • Marshall Islands

  • Palau

  • Federated States of Micronesia

We also ship internationally to:

  • Canada

  • Australia

  • United Kingdom

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information when available.

Please allow carriers time to update tracking information after shipment.

Delivery Estimates

Shipping transit times begin after your order has been completed and shipped.

Delivery estimates provided by carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Transit times may be affected by:

  • Weather

  • Holidays

  • Carrier delays

  • Customs processing

  • Other circumstances beyond our control

Ted's Medical Threads is not responsible for carrier delays after a shipment has been accepted by the shipping carrier.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by their destination country.

Import regulations vary by country. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they purchase may legally be imported into their country.

Ted's Medical Threads is not responsible for customs delays or additional fees imposed by customs authorities.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If an incorrect address is entered, please contact us immediately. We will make every effort to update the shipping information before the order ships.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

While we are happy to assist with carrier claims and package tracking, Ted's Medical Threads is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage that occurs after a shipment has been accepted by the carrier.
